I'm Milan Georgijevic, a freelance technical SEO consultant and developer. I'm based in Serbia and work remotely with clients worldwide. iviG Technical SEO is a one-person practice, so the person who reviews your site is the person who does the work.
A developer's approach to SEO
My background is in software development: websites, web apps and desktop software, built with tools such as React, Next.js and Electron. Many search problems are engineering problems in disguise. A template prints the wrong canonical, a redirect chain grows one migration at a time, a JavaScript app sends crawlers an empty page, or a sitemap keeps listing URLs that no longer exist.
So I work from what the site actually sends to a crawler. I trace each problem back to the page or template that causes it, then fix it at the source or hand your developer a change they can apply without guessing.
What I work on
- Technical SEO audits: a prioritized, developer-ready fix list across eight areas.
- Indexing fixes: pages missing from Google, diagnosed from your Search Console data and fixed.
- AI search audits: how ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI features describe your brand, and what to change.
- Ongoing SEO support: regular direction and hands-on work for sites that keep changing.
Tools I've built
I also build free SEO tools. Both are open source:
- TechSEO Inspector, a Chrome extension that checks a page's titles, headings, links, structured data and indexability in one click (Chrome Web Store (opens in a new tab), source on GitHub (opens in a new tab)).
- Sitemap Scout, a sitemap checker that finds broken links, redirects, noindex pages and canonical mismatches among the URLs a sitemap lists (command-line version on GitHub (opens in a new tab)).
And I write free SEO guides, from how Google Search works to why a page isn't indexed, with the code and checks I use on real audits.
Track record
I've worked with clients through Upwork since 2020, where I hold Top Rated status with a 100% Job Success score. You can read selected client reviews on the homepage, quoted word for word, or see the full history on my Upwork profile (opens in a new tab).
How I work
- Find the cause. Understand your goals, inspect the site and separate confirmed issues from assumptions.
- Agree on the work. Prioritize useful changes and confirm deliverables, access, cost and testing before anything changes.
- Check what changed. Validate each fix, then review search and enquiry data against the starting point.
I don't promise rankings or timelines. Search visibility depends on your site, your competitors and the search engines. What I do promise is a clear account of what I found, what I changed and how we'll know whether it worked.
