When important pages are missing from Google, Search Console usually says why, but not what to change. I read your Page indexing report, find the cause of each status, fix the technical problems on your site and send the fixes for validation, so you can watch the pages come back.

Upwork handles the contract and payment, and may add its own client fee. You can message me there before you order.

What I fix

  • Stray noindex tags in the HTML or in an X-Robots-Tag header. See the noindex tag guide.
  • robots.txt rules that block pages you want in search. See the robots.txt guide.
  • Wrong canonicals that point Google at another URL. See canonical URLs.
  • Redirect and sitemap errors: chains, loops and sitemaps that list URLs which don't return 200. See HTTP status codes and the sitemap guide.
  • Orphan pages that no internal link points to. See internal linking.
  • Soft 404s: pages that return 200 but look empty or broken to Google.

Every Search Console status and what it means is explained in why a page isn't indexed.

What you get

  • The cause of each indexing status that affects your important pages.
  • The technical fixes applied on your site, or handed to your developer if you prefer.
  • A log of every change, so you know exactly what was touched.
  • Validation started in Search Console and indexing requested for the pages that matter most.

What I need from you

  • Search Console access as a user with Full permission.
  • Access to your CMS or hosting, or a developer who can apply the changes.
  • A short list of the pages you care about most, if you have one.

When it isn't a two-day fix

Some exclusions aren't technical. When Google crawls a page and decides it isn't worth indexing, the answer is better or less duplicated content, not a setting. I'll tell you which pages fall into that group and what I'd change, so you don't pay for fixes that can't work. Large migrations and sites with thousands of affected URLs need a scoped project instead.

How it works

  1. Order on Upwork, or message me there first.
  2. Add me to Search Console and share access for making changes.
  3. I diagnose and fix within two days, then send you the change log.
  4. We watch validation. Search Console reports the result as Google recrawls the pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Search Console access as a user (Full permission), plus access to your CMS, hosting or a developer who can apply the changes. Never send passwords by email; add me as a user instead.
Technical causes: stray noindex tags, robots.txt blocks, wrong canonicals, redirect and sitemap errors, orphan pages and soft 404s. These are found in Search Console, fixed on your site and sent for validation.
Then it isn't a two-day technical fix, and I'll say so. "Crawled - currently not indexed" usually means Google doesn't see enough value or sees duplication. I'll show which pages are affected and what content work would help.
Google decides that, not me. After the fixes I request indexing and start validation in Search Console. Recrawling usually takes days to a few weeks, depending on the site.
No. The indexing fix focuses on pages missing from Google and includes the fixes. The technical SEO audit covers eight areas and delivers a fix list without implementing it.
